To conclude our Pride Week each year, we celebrate inclusiveness, diversity and community in a dazzling afternoon parade.  The City of OKC has recently confirmed this event to be the largest parade in the city.

The 2014 parade featured as Grand Marshals Mary Bishop, Sharon Baldwin, Sue Barton and Gay Phillips, the plaintiffs in the ongoing Oklahoma Marriage Equality Lawsuit.  The parade was full of energy, and drew a crowd of more than 32,000 attendees!

This year’s parade featured floats, walking groups and vehicles representing the full spectrum of our community, including:

  • Local political campaigns
  • Local clubs and bars
  • Reconciling church congregations from many different denominations
  • National corporations
  • Activist organizations
  • Regional chapters of performance and pageant organizations
  • Local charities
  • Local businesses and agencies

and many more.  We are so proud of the community that our parade represents, and we are excited to keep on bringing this top-notch event to the city!
